Telegram supports customization right in the client settings. However, many users prefer to download ready-made themes from other authors. In this way, you can get a design with a well-developed color and a high-quality background picture. Here we will tell you how to install your own or someone else's theme in Telegram.
Installing a theme from the generator
- After saving the theme created in the generator, click on the "Download" button.
- Then click on the desired format. Now we provide themes of the following extensions:
- tdesktop-theme: Windows, Linux, Mac OS;
- attheme: Android.
- Send the downloaded file in a message to yourself (to favorites) in Telegram.
- Click on the theme, and then on the "Apply" button.
- Ready! Your theme is installed!
The order of installation of any other themes is no different: You just download the file and then send it in a message - to someone or to yourself (to favorites). After that, tap / click and in the window that opens, click on the "Apply" button.
All formats and platforms
- tdesktop-theme - Telegram Desktop for PC: Windows, Linux, Mac OS
- attheme - Telegram on Android
- tgios-theme - Apple iOS
- palette is a lightweight Swift client for Mac OS
- tgx is an official, lightweight client for Android with cross-platform TDLib
When you click on the downloaded theme (one click, two β it doesn't matter), you open this (screen). I don't see any windows with a suggestion to apply the theme.
Telegram latest version? I just checked, everything is working, the theme is being installed. You need to download the file format .tdesktop-theme.
What should I doπ₯Ί
It looks like I'm a loaf of bread, but I won't succeed. On the 4th point I have a problem
@beissmich, judging by the "Show in Finder" button, you are using the Swift version (macos.telegram.org /), whereas tdesktop-theme works, oddly enough, with the desktop version of the client (desktop.telegram.org /)
